On this day in 1996 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Ramones fans rioted, injuring several people after waiting on line all night and learning concert tickets were sold out.

On This Day in 2004, Guitar Wolf played a sold out show. This Japanese punk power trio formed in 1987 in Nagasaki Japan. Their music influence cross between garage rock, rockabilly and the Ramones. The band has numerous studio albums, singles and have appeared two science fiction/ horror films. In 2005, Bass Wolf, the band’s bassist and founding member died of a heart attack at age 38. U.G., has since replaced him and Guitar Wolf continues on with Seiji and Toro.
