The Toasters formed in 1981, made up of employees at Forbidden Planet in NYC.  Even after 3 decades they are the longest active ska band in the US.  In 1982, The Toasters played their first gig at CB’s and were paid $22, but in 1996, the Toasters made their 2000th performance in Atlanta.  The Toasters have toured nationally and internationally more than 15 times and were the first foreign ska band to tour Brazil.  They have released 15 albums since 1985, and are currently gigging with 7 members including founding member Rob “Bucket” Hingley.

The Toasters Live at CBGB in 2002 was released last in 2008.
